Wellington's favourite garden bar and function space, Southern Cross, is looking for their next Venue Manager to take the reins
Southern Cross is a very diverse venue that caters to multiple aspects of hospitality.

The venue is a well-established part of Wellington history that has been around for decades and has an outstanding reputation for a great place to hang out.

As the Venue Manager of Southern Cross, your role is to run the establishment's day to day operations while leading your team of duty managers and front of house staff to success.

You'll be expected to hit the ground running and be eager to get stuck right in.

This will be a challenging role but we are sure that you will find it incredibly rewarding This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on a project.

There are aspects of this venue which need a bit of extra love and care, but you will have the best team to support you on the journey This is the perfect place for you to grow in your career and make your impact on Wellington's hospitality industry.

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 45 hours per week. The salary banding for the role is $90k - $95k per annum.

  • At least 2 years experience in a senior management position at a similar sized venue
  • A valid LCQ and Manager's License essential for compliance purposes

  • An excellent understanding of sound cost control & revenue generating ability
