Part time:
Monday to Friday 5.45pm - 8.30pm (during term time)

Are you an energetic team player with a can-do attitude and a friendly smile? Do you thrive in a busy, fast paced, and dynamic environment?

We need you to help us deliver the best food service experience in the industry At Southland Boys' High School's Coldstream Hostel our team caters for approximately 120 students who board during the school week, as well as regular school functions throughout the year.

Our aim is to provide a home away from home with a delicious meal service that supports health and wellbeing and provides the fuel needed for success.

What you'll do:
- ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning.
- assist with service and clearing away afterwards.
- support the chef with some basic food preparation.
- top up supplies, help to keep the kitchen running smoothly, and left clean and tidy at the end of shift.

Who You Are:
- a flexible team player, with a committed attitude who can stay cool under pressure.
- friendly and engaging and enjoy making the students' day by serving amazing meals.
- able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.
- able to take initiative and be comfortable to work unsupervised when required.

This position supports the dinner service and is part time working 5.45pm - 8.30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
