  • The Opportunity
  • Join our Asphalt Paving Department as a Quality Assurance Technician based out of Mt Wellington
  • Auckland.
  • As a (QA), you'll be primarily responsible for overseeing and detailing quality assurance onsite our paving projects, ensuring quality standards are met and that all work completed is to client specification and work procedures. The role may also involve some asphalt labouring tasks or plant operations. This is a role that offers variety to your day.
  • In addition to the above you'll:
  • Test materials to relevant registered/accredited methods, ensuring specifications in manuals are current
  • Understand all design and quality control testing equipment, maintain, troubleshoot and calibrate as required
  • Understand mix design specification requirements
  • Strive to achieve accurate test results
  • All daily activities recorded including plant, labour and material used
  • What you will bring to the table:
  • Minimum Class 1 Full NZ driver's licence-
  • WTR endorsement is a bonus-
  • Quality Assurance experience within Civil/Construction is ideal-
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills-
  • Good level of physical fitness with the ability to complete manual labour
