About Finn de Hora:

I am an outgoing, enthusiastic person with great communication skills. I am a perfect addition to any workplace due to my reliability and passion for work. My wide range of work experience has allowed me to build important skills such as working with customers, ensuring the safety of groups, preparation skills, and how to contribute my own personality to a team. My extroverted personality means I'm a great person to work alongside and a perfect asset in the work place.

Experience

Kitchen hand for Kahna (Indian restaurant), age 14​

​Worked at a Thai restaurant (The Taste) from age 15 to 16. As a kitchen hand, as a curry chef for 3 months, and then as a front-of-house/moped delivery driver​

​Worked on-site as a laborer for LA hire for two months over November and December 2023​

​Worked at Hell pizza from March 2024 – Jan 2025 as a delivery driver​

​A part of the North Shore United football club holiday program as a coach for over 3 years. Working with a range of ages from 5-13 whilst the school holidays. I still do this coaching whenever I am back from university in the holidays. ​

​Part of the summer football refereeing program for over 2 years, refereed the adult league. ​

Volunteered at Feeding Dreams, an NGO in Siem Reap, Cambodia, in October 2023. I taught a classroom of 20 young children basic English.

Education

I went to Takapuna Grammar and achieved NCEA Level 3 in 2024. I now study at the University of Canterbury as a first-year student. I am studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Geography.
