I can establish a QA/QC system for  Civil work of construction projects. I can choose the right team members, filter suppliers, subcontractors, laboratories for civil works. I can clarify QA/QC  contract requirements to bidders and guide them to fill the gaps in their quality system. I can prepare and review quality plans and procedures. I can train our team members and other personnel on QA/QC requirements of a project and assess their performance.  I can lead a team of QC Engineers/inspectors as well as construction engineers/supervisors to achieve our project goals and to align with our quality policy.

Clients I took part in their projects include Shell, BP, Exxon Mobil, Total Fina Elf, Union Fenousa., Ras Gas, Qatar Petroleum,  Dolphin for Energy and Kuwait Oil Company.

My total experience in construction exceeds 22 years mainly in oil and gas construction projects.Handling Civil Structural and Building QA/QC responsibilities from early stages of oil& gas projects till turn over has been my role for many projects which I completed successfully. I covered a variety of responsibilities in different projects including review of bidders for Quality requirements of the project, filter subcontractors, laboratories, and suppliers, filter CVs and interview Civil QC Engineers for my team. I contribute to setting KPIs of our team and appraisal of individuals. I lead Civil QA/QC meetings with subcontractors and Client. I take part in Construction meetings to convey QA/QC concerns and to respond to QC related issues. I issue NCRs and guide on how to address them. I carry out audits on subcontractors, on field activities and on suppliers and guide on how to address Corrective and Preventive  actions.I am very familiar with  field inspections, update of procedures and ITPs’ preparation/review, application of project specifications and International standards of all civil activities including the works of  earthwork,  concrete, asphalt, grouting, underground drainage networks, industrial buildings, grouting, steel structures, surface drainage. I led many successful teams  of QA/QC Civil Engineers and inspectors  and we keep in touch till today.

I take part  in training and educating new comers of our team as well as Client and Subcontractors to on QA/QC requirements. I carry out toolbox talks to address QC issues at site. I carry out presentations to our team and to Client to  highlight concerns and to inform the status of QA/QC KPIs.
