With hands-on experience across various sectors of social work, I have worked extensively in case management, community development, documentation, and advocacy. My professional journey includes roles as a Case Worker, Freelance Social Worker, and Documentation and Reporting Officer, where I was responsible for project monitoring, evaluation, donor correspondence, and working closely with governmental authorities. I also gained valuable field experience as a Trainee Social Worker, contributing to empowerment initiatives and group work. Volunteering with national organizations and participating in skill-development workshops have further enriched my practical knowledge and deepened my commitment to social justice and community empowerment.

Holds a First-Class Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the National Institute of Social Development, with a strong academic foundation in case management, social policy, and community development. Complemented by additional qualifications including a Diploma in English (Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka), a Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management (Virtual Academy), and a Certificate Course in Human Rights (Council of Justices of The Peace of Sri Lanka), reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to social work and advocacy.
