Description

You'll be assisting the team with cable laying and construction, maintenance work and lifting of poles

You'll also:

Transport materials to and from sites and do site preparation and postjob cleanup
Carry out hazard identification, underground obstructions and set up safe sites to relevant Safe Work Practices
Perform manual labouring tasks like excavating, backfilling, equipment and cable installation
Discuss worksite safety risks identified at the site with the supervisors and project managers and the effective controls to mitigate risks

About you

You'll be working on a variety of exciting projects and be someone who enjoys getting stuck in to get the job done.

You're willing to proactively support the team to undertake work activities without being told.

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

Class 2 or Class 4 licence
Physically fit and be able to lift heavy weights up to 20Kg
A great work attitude and willingness to be part of a diverse team along with a strong focus to health & safety
Ability to work calmly under pressure and communicate well
