About the Role for Tea Shift Person.


We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Tea Shift Person and Carer at Wensley House.


We have casual and permanent roles available.

About you:


  • Experience in Rest Home cooking and able to follow a menu.
  • Be experienced in different dietary requirement of Rest Home residents
  • Holds current food and hygiene certificate.
  • High standard of food presentation
  • Ability to cater for special events.
  • Personable with positive attitude
  • Be punctual, reliable and honest.

About the Role for Carer:
We are looking for a few Carers to join our team at Wensley House.


We have casual and permanent roles available.

About you

  • Experience preferred but not essential.
  • Capable of managing challenging behaviours.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Must be available for Night Shift, if needed.
  • High energy, enthusiasm and a team player.
  • Be Flexible and have a reliable transport.
  • Be punctual, reliable and honest.

Key skills required:


  • Dynamic and team player.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • You must be empathetic but also firm and resilient.
  • Be able to engage with family and be culturally sensitive.
  • All applicants must have a valid work visa, New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
