At Shadow Security and Services Limited we are a vibrant company in the heart of Auckland. We are looking for positive Electronic Equipment Trades Workers to join our expanding operations.

If you have a can do attitude and are eager to learn, and are able to work under the guidance of our experienced builder then we would love to hear from you.

Please note this work is quite hands on and you must be physically fit and able to perform the required tasks.

Job locations:
Throughout North Island as required.

Number of Positions:
Up to 8 positions.


Employment Type:
Permanent.


Days required:
Rotating Roster and weekends as required.

Hours per week: 30 to 40 hours per week.

Hourly rate of pay:
$28 to $35.

Job pre-requisites: Having 1 year of work experience and/or a suitable qualification will be beneficial but not necessary as we need workers urgently.

The Job Overview:
As part of the above position you will be expected to perform the following tasks:

• assemble, install and fix electronic products, equipment and security systems.

- run tests to check for faults on electronic equipment.
- analyse the testing data and report findings.
- repair problems and replace any faulty parts as per job requirements.
- ensure quality workmanship of jobs to ensure electronic failures do not occur.
- package and prepare electronic products for installation, repair or maintenance.
- have sound electrical theory knowledge including electronic circuitry.
- be confident and knowledgeable on how to diagnose and fix problems with electrical equipment.
- be able to install electronic and mechanical assembly as required depending on the job.
- be working within safe working practices.
- be safety-conscious at all times.
- be accurate, methodical, analytical, honest, and reliable.
- be able to follow instructions along with being a good problem-solver.
- proactively be involved in the jobs that the company is undertaking to ensure maximum customer satisfaction is achieved.


Salary:
$ $35.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Licensed Building Practitioners NZ Registration (preferred)
• Drivers Licence (preferred)
