    The Role

    Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand have joined the Health Roundtable Workforce Wellbeing programme for a dedicated period of two years.

    The Workforce Wellbeing programme provides real-time data and benchmarking of the levels of distress and wellbeing of health workforces at an organisational, regional and ANZ level.

    This programme provides organisations with access to the Well-Being Index (WBI) – a validated tool created by the Mayo Clinic that provides six discipline specific versions to measure levels of distress in the healthcare workforce.

    The Workforce Wellbeing Programme Manager is responsible to lead the co-design, rollout, and implementation of the WBI with a dedicated Workforce Wellbeing Programme Coordinator and ongoing engagement with Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand.

    This role will be an integral member of our Workforce Wellbeing Knowledge Network team.

    Job Description

    What You'll Do
    The Workforce Wellbeing Programme Manager will be responsible for programme and data management, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

    This includes but is not limited to:
    Oversee the planning, co-design, and execution of the WBI implementation for Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand
    Support the WBI for administrators and wellbeing champions with:

    Onboarding and accessing data
    Education and training, including workshops and webinar content
    Monitoring engagement, encouraging feedback and assisting as required
    Identifying opportunities for ongoing programme enhancement s

    Provide clear, consistent communications to members, including website and newsletter content
    Support the use of data when healthcare leaders are planning, designing, and executing data-driven initiatives
    Identify opportunities for research and case studies, and progress these through to review and completion
    Prepare and present WBI data and work with Strategic Health Partners when linking data to other indicators
    Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the workforce wellbeing benchmarking module
    Collaborate with Te Whatu Oraliaisons, leadership, and employees to align programme goals with stakeholder expectations.
    Desired Skills and Experience

    Who You Are

    To be successful in this role, you have superior relationship building abilities with excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    You have experience working within the healthcare sector and are familiar with data management systems and tools specific to it.

    You are competent and proficient in writing and maintaining documentation, with a moderate level of digital literacy.

    You have a demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from data, and experience utilising data to facilitate discussions within a hospital executive team environment and at the work unit level.

    You are proficient in operating independently, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. You must be able to travel primarily within New Zealand, however, occasional travel to Australia will be required. A tertiary qualification, or equivalent, in healthcare or related field is required.
