At HELP Auckland, we are looking for a Team Leader for the Adult Therapy Team with post-qualifying clinical and leadership experience, to join our feminist values-based organisation, to help us in our mission to support & empower women in their healing from the effects of sexual violence.
About the role:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with survivors of sexual violence, as well as supporting other therapists to do this challenging clinical work.
This role involves maintaining a small clinical caseload, with responsibility for clinical coordination, monitoring and enhancing the day-to-day performance of the team, service development, provision of organisational supervision, and reporting to funders, with commitment to the professional development of self and the team, and health and safety.
This is a part-time role, working 21.5 hours per week, Monday (is a requirement) + 2 days, based in Mt Eden, Auckland.
About you:
You will be a member of a New Zealand Professional Governing Body in Counselling, Psychotherapy or Psychology as well as fully registered with ACC ISSC.
You will have had a minimum of 5 years post qualifying clinical experience as a therapist with experience in people management or in a leadership role.
You will help maintain a positive team culture by modelling effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a collaborative and consultative leadership approach with transparency of decision making, and a strong commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
You will have a feminist understanding of the use and misuse of interpersonal power and a commitment to upholding the values at the core of HELP's culture.
