We are looking for an exceptional Programme Coordinator to support Te Tauraki Limited (
Te Tauraki).

This crucial role will help support Te Tauraki in achieving its objectives and in forming a genuinely transformational healthcare system; a system that truly meets health needs for Māori, that is whānau centric, and that provides for and properly resources kaupapa Māori health services.


Reporting to the General Manager of Te Tauraki, in this role you will provide effective and efficient programme coordination, including secretarial and administrative support for the General Manager and Board of Te Tauraki.

This role will provide practical support for a range of projects, with a focus on supporting health reform and Locality development by Papatipu Rūnanga within the Ngāi Tahu Takiwā.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • A strong awareness of and affinity for the needs and aspirations of Ngāi Tahu Whānui and Māori communities
  • 3+ years' experience supporting management and operations or projects and administration support
  • Positivity and great interpersonal and relational skills
  • Excellent administration, communication, and document production abilities
  • Efficiency, timeliness, confidentiality
  • Initiative, solutionsfocus, flexibility, and resilience
  • Knowledge of Ngāi Tahu tribal structures, relationships, and processes

As the Iwi-Māori Partnership Board within the Ngāi Tahu takiwā, Te Tauraki is mandated by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu to give effect to, and advance, the health and disability rights and interests of Ngāi Tahu Whānui and Māori within the Ngāi Tahu takiwā.
