    Description

    Key Responsibilities

    A Guest Service Agent plays a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience for our Guests, from check-in through to check-out.

    The role involves performing the following tasks with the highest standards:

    1. Responding promptly and effectively to Guest queries
    2. Ensuring efficient reception experiences, including check-in/check-out, and completing audit procedures as required
    3. Communicating relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments to the Duty Manager
    4. Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
    5. Participating in training courses and assisting with the Night Team's training and development efforts
    6. Demonstrating knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and product information necessary for daily duties
    7. Maximizing room occupancy and promoting hotel services and facilities through up-selling techniques
    8. Following correct procedures regarding credit card and cash transactions in accordance with hotel policies
    9. Adhering to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
    10. Complying with front-of-house equipment and property management system procedures
    11. Maintaining company brand standards
    12. Assisting other departments as needed
    13. Operating the guest shuttle
    14. Providing assistance with luggage handling

    Requirements

    Guest Service Agents serving Hilton brands work closely with Team Members to deliver exceptional Guest experiences. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:

    • Prior experience in a customer-focused industry
    • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
    • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
    • High grooming standards
    • Calm, efficient, and organized demeanor with attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude with Guests
    • Professional manner emphasizing hospitality and Guest service
    • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in IT systems
    • Able to work over a seven-day roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
    • Valid full driver's license

    Previous experience in cash handling, hotel environment, or conflict resolution is advantageous.
