Description
Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive, state-of-the-art genetic information and support services for sheep and beef farmers.Their DNA-marker technologies assist in the management of breeding programs, along with facilitating identification of genetically superior animals for more informed decision making and enhanced genetic gain.
They are now seeking a Customer Service representative to cover a 12-month period of maternity leave cover.The start date would be the 1st of May for 1-month cross over training.
This would be a perfect role for an agricultural or genetic graduate who is looking for an insight into opportunities within the sheep and beef industry, someone between current roles or at a career cross road.
It is a sole charge position as part of the customer service in the genetics team.Hours of work: 8am to 4pm
Rate:
$28 per hour + 8% holiday pay
Responsibilities include:
Answering all customer queries through phone and email
Sample data entry and package samples for submission to the laboratory in a timely manner
Handling a variety of Sheep & Cattle samples
Liaising with the Genetics Field Force on the support and delivery of Genetics products
Accounts payable/receivables support
Promote positive customer service and coming resolutions effectively to achieve the best possible outcome.
To be considered for the position:
Accurate and proficient data entry skills
A working knowledge of New Zealand cattle/sheep industries (preferred but not essential)
Intermediate Microsoft suite
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and able to use initiative
