About the role

Are you ready to take the helm of a driven team that thrives on effective problem-solving and communication? Step into the role of a Property Settlements Team Leader, a critical position that supports Metlifecares growth.

Operating in a commercially focused capacity, you'll spearhead property settlement agreements across all our Villages.

Your leadership will be instrumental in driving seamless processes and favorable outcomes, ensuring compliance with our company's policies and procedures.

Based in our brand new, modern offices in Newmarket. This is a crucial position for Metlifecare and will excite you as we change, adapt, innovate, and grow.


Some key responsibilities include:

  • As the driving force behind our Settlements team, you will lead with authority, ensuring every endeavor aligns with our organizational ethos.
  • You'll forge robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, skillfully coordinating with legal and finance teams as well as residents and families.
  • Your legal acumen will shine as you provide valueenhancing advice on a range of commercial issues and collaborate with external solicitors.
  • Guiding and mentoring your settlements legal team, you'll foster a culture of excellence in processes, relationship management, and dispute resolution, all while ensuring our property settlement processes remain at the cutting edge of innovation.

About you

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within a complex business environment such as property or the Aged Care sector.
  • Proficiency in Legal and/or contract management, backed by comprehensive knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
  • Your adeptness at tackling intricate challenges, juggling multiple priorities, and harmonizing diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership in guiding teams, collaborating with customers and partners alike.
  • A penchant for embracing change and spearheading new initiatives; qualities that resonate with our growthfocused organization.
  • Familiarity with a range of CRM systems, demonstrating your techsavviness.
