Plant and Food are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.


As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing our development processes, optimizing infrastructure, and improving deployment pipelines to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems.

Our DevOps engineers facilitate collaboration and communication between development (Dev) and operations (Ops) teams, aiming to streamline the software development process and improve the quality and speed of software delivery.

The DevOps role will focus on automating and optimizing processes related to infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and testing.

They also work on implementing and maintaining tools and practices that enable continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC).


The goal of the DevOps role is to foster a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement within an organization's software development and delivery pipeline.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
