    Car Painter - Full-Time (40 hours/week) - Sponsored Opportunity


    Overview:
    We are currently seeking a skilled Car Painter to join our team on a full-time basis.

    This position offers sponsorship for the right candidate and provides a minimum pay of $29.80 per hour, commensurate with experience.

    As a Car Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer expectations.

    This role guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional Saturday shifts.


    Responsibilities:

    Vehicle Preparation:

    • Thoroughly prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primers as necessary.
    • Conduct detailed inspections to identify any imperfections or damage that may require repair before painting.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper ventilation in the painting area to maintain a safe working environment.

    Paint Mixing and Application:

    • Mix paint colors according to vehicle specifications and customer preferences, using precise measurements and formulas.
    • Apply paint coats evenly and accurately using spray guns, brushes, or other appropriate methods.
    • Follow established procedures for paint application, including drying times and temperature control, to achieve desired results.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Perform thorough inspections of completed paint jobs to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
    • Make necessary touchups or adjustments to ensure flawless finishes and color matches.
    • Adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements for automotive painting.

    Equipment Maintenance:

    • Maintain painting equipment in optimal condition by cleaning, calibrating, and performing regular maintenance tasks.
    • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
    • Monitor inventory levels of paint supplies and equipment accessories, and coordinate with management for replenishment.

    Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other team members, including auto body technicians and estimators, to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations for paint colors and finishes.
    • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as an automotive painter, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
    • Demonstrated expertise in preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying finishes using various techniques and equipment.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality results within specified timeframes.
    • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to automotive painting, including hazardous materials handling.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Certification or formal training in automotive painting techniques is preferred but not compulsory
