About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to lead a team of passionate Registered Nurses and Caregivers at our Coastal Villas Care Home in Paraparaumu, Kapiti Coast.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours a week from Tuesday to Saturday. You will need to be flexible to cover RN shifts a few days a week as required. Sharing 'On call' responsibility and an allowance for this time are also part of the role.

• Leadership Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a team of registered nurses to ensure high levels of clinical delivery and compliance with auditing requirements.
• Support and upskill registered nurses and care workers by providing direction and delegation.
• Liaise closely with the Nurse Manager on risk management, quality projects, and improvements.
• Assess and identify resident needs to formulate or review individual care plans using your clinical skills.
• Ensure compassionate and excellent quality of care for all residents.
• Develop lasting relationships with residents and their families/whanau.

About You

We seek an experienced Senior Registered Nurse with essential skills and experience:

• Ideal leadership experience and communication skills.
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
• Aged Care experience with management or Advanced Clinical Practice is crucial.
• Current InterRai Certification.
• Nursing practice in a culturally safe manner supporting the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
