    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Quality & Regulatory Manager to join our team in New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of quality across our global operations.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of international regulations governing pet food manufacturing and ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
    • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to guarantee the safety and integrity of our products.
    • Product Registration: Manage the registration process for new products in various markets, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
    • Audits and Inspections: Coordinate and oversee audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and third-party organizations, addressing any findings or deficiencies promptly.
    • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive records of regulatory documentation, including product specifications, ingredient lists, and manufacturing processes.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on quality and regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies to minimize product safety risks.
    • Training and Development: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on quality and regulatory matters, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
    • Supplier Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, streamline processes, and optimize regulatory compliance efforts.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within the food or pet food industry, with a strong understanding of international regulatory requirements.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing regulatory compliance and quality assurance programs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and identify practical solutions.
    • Experience with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other relevant quality management systems.
    • Certification in Regulatory Affairs (e.g., RAPS) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with New Zealand and international pet food regulations is highly desirable.
