Mangere East location

Spectrum Care is an independent charitable trust that provides a support network for people that have a disability. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide a respite service in a home-like setting in Mangere East.

All shifts are required as this is a 24 hour rotating roster.

This role involves supporting a current maximum of five children years of age) who are medically fragile, or who have special needs by:

Providing education, respite care, transition and palliative care
Providing individual therapeutic programmes working alongside other paediatric health professionals
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment

This service is fundamental for families to receive respite, and this role entails working with them in partnership.

Goals are personalised and identify the needs of each child or young person in developing skills that will strengthen their capability and confidence.

Minimum Requirements:

Registered Nurse with the New Zealand Nursing Council and hold a current practising certificate

This is a full-time role. You will be part of a dedicated, supportive and enthusiastic team in Mangere East. We provide full training and support for continuing education and opportunities for career development.
