_ About the role_

We currently have a casual role available with the opportunity to contribute to a welcoming, professional and responsive library and service centre, delivering outstanding customer experiences to our community.

Our casual roles work across Selwyn District at our walk-in locations in Darfield, Leeston, Lincoln, and Rolleston, and also on our Edge Connector Vehicle outreach service, across 7-days.

Engage with our customers from all walks of life as you build rapport and actively promote our wide range of resources, services and technology.

Support our community with lifelong learning and discovery as you deliver library and outreach programmes. Display, maintain and promote physical collections and use your digitial literacy skills to troubleshoot with our customers.

Selwyn District Council honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We are committed to working with our Treaty partner to deliver on our obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
