Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

The Team Leader - Asset Services leads a team of coordinators and administrators who handle all administration regarding interactions with third party body corporates, property owners and utility service providers, to do with Kāinga Ora residential properties.

The main focus of your role will be to provide influential leadership and coaching to enable your nationally spread team, continually engaging them to deliver nationally consistent property administration services.

Focused on ongoing improvement, you'll also be responsible for tasks relating to compliance, reporting, budgets and forecasting.

As there is occasional travel involved in this role for site visits, a full and clean driver's licence is required.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Experience in a property related role and ideally, a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislations including Fencing Act, body corporates, utilities and property asset management
  • A track record of leading teams to high performance in multifaceted and demanding environments
  • Practice in monitoring, analysing and evaluating data to deliver process and performance improvements
  • Strong Excel and performance reporting skills
  • A clear and concise exceptional communication style
  • A collaborative style and commitment to working in partnership with people
