    Description
    Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    Plan and execute menu offerings, taking into account seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and dietary restrictions.

    Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.

    Create and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
    Develop and refine pizza recipes, incorporating innovative toppings and flavor combinations.
    Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations.
    Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices.
    Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving kitchen efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    Assist with special events and catering functions as needed.

    Job pre-requisites:

    l Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment for at least two years.
    l Strong culinary skills and proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
    l Extensive knowledge of pizza-making techniques, dough preparation, and various pizza toppings.
    l Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
    l Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    l Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
    l Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
    l The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions and be able to pass a drug test.
