Description

We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Painters to join our team (at least 30 hours per week).
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, and priming.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
Select appropriate paint and materials based on surface types, project requirements, and environmental factors.
Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper storage and disposal of painting materials.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate painting schedules and prioritize tasks.
Address any touch-up or repair work as needed to achieve a flawless finish.
Adhere to project specifications, blueprints, and quality standards to meet client expectations.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

At least three years of proven experience as a painter or in a related role.
Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).
Must be able to work both Auckland and Waikato regions according to the work demands.
Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
Pre-employed drug test and Police vetting is required.
