About the role
We are looking for a Café Assistant / Barista to work at our Pinesong Village in Green Bay. You will provide Barista and Café services in our established café.

Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will be providing exceptional service to our Residents and their friends while also helping provide a great dining experience There may also be the opportunity to vary your duties including cooking, food prep etc.

This is an entry level role working 23 hours per week.


Shifts:
Sunday

  • 10am to 2pm, Monday and Tuesday 9.30am to 2.30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10am to 2.30pm.**Some of the great things you will be doing:
  • Taking food and beverage orders from our residents, visitors and staff
  • Making amazing cups of coffee (semiautomatic machine)
  • Serving and collecting meals in our café
  • Serving meals to our residents (in the care home)
  • Operating the cash register
  • General cleaning including café equipment and cutlery
  • Additional Kitchen duties as and when required

About you

  • Impeccable personal presentation
  • Mature and reliable with exceptional communication skills
  • A good command of spoken and written English
  • A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (not essential) as well as and/or commercial kitchen experience
