    Help drive the Credit Control process within NZ Post

    Be at the forefront of our financial operations, join a team of professionals and help drive the development and execution of effective credit control strategies.

    Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining strong client relationships, minimising financial risk, and contributing to the overall financial health of NZ Post.

    As a Senior Credit Control Specialist, you will ensure debt collection on customer accounts is proactively managed with a real focus on timely payments of invoices.

    Oversee a number of strategic debt portfolios which include significant organisations, Governmental accounts, partnerships, and international customers, managing direct debit failures, account holds, external collections and minimising write-offs on customer accounts.

    A vital part of the process requires strong relationship building and regular engagement with customers, stakeholders, and numerous internal NZ Post teams.

    While hybrid working is available, join an open office layout encouraging collaboration, conversation, and teamwork to drive results.

    There'll be lots of opportunities to participate in projects and contribute real value to not only the immediate Credit Control team but also the wider Finance Shared Services team.

    Bring your high-quality customer service to NZ Post and its customers Experience in credit control is preferred, but not essential, however strong negotiation and communication skills combined with an eagerness to pursue payment are a must.

    If you have an interest in numbers, are a strategic thinker and possess a growth mindset, we want to hear from you.

    To succeed you'll need to demonstrate most of the following in your experience:
    Evidence of working in a large organisation which has a strong customer relationship component
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
    Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience is advantageous
