Job summary

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality investigations, analysis, and reporting across 3 Waters projects.
- Prepare practical, buildable designs and treatment solutions, including calculations and drawings.
- Lead feasibility studies and produce reports that support client decision-making.
- Support clients with asset condition assessments, renewals planning, and long-term infrastructure strategies aligned with LTP and AMP requirements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients as a go-to technical advisor.
- Lead or contribute to proposals, bids, and presentations aligned with client needs and WSP's strategic goals.
- Assist in preparing project briefs, fee estimates, and manage projects with clear reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Ideally 10+ years of professional experience in 3 Waters engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Hold Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards this.
- Proven experience in a seller/doer role, with a strong track record of identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
- An established civil and water engineering professional network within the Bay of Plenty region.
- Strong technical, analytical, and project management capabilities.
- A client-focused mindset with a passion for sustainable, practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach to work.
