Description

We are looking for a technician at beginner to intermediate level to join our team in Onehunga, Auckland.

This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop or kick-start their career as on-the-job training is provided.

In this role, you will be expected to perform geotechnical laboratory testing to a high level of accuracy. The work will be hands-on and physical, and therefore requires a reasonable degree of physical capability. The nature of the work may also require early starts, late finishes, and occasional overtime.

What you'll bring:

Ideally you will have a degree or diploma in Geography, Physical Science, Electronics, Physics or similar.
Ability to lift items weighing 15kg+ on a regular basis.
Computer literacy, especially in MS Word and Excel.
Good attention to detail and high standards of work.
A willingness to learn and ability to understand technical concepts.
Ability to work alone and as a part of a team.
Good communication skills.
