As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Engineer to join their small but growing team.
Position Overview:
You will play a crucial role in contributing to a wide range of projects spanning multiple sectors from industrial to commercial to educational.
From acceptable solutions to VM2 projects, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging assignments, showcasing your expertise in fire engineering.
This role is ideal for an individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience in New Zealand and a passion for creating safe and effective fire safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis: Conduct fire safety engineering design and analysis for various projects, utilizing your knowledge of acceptable solutions and VM2 frameworks.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on local fire safety regulations and ensure that all projects comply with relevant codes and standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with a diverse team of engineers and professionals to integrate fire safety measures seamlessly into overall project designs.
Client Interaction:
Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert advice on fire engineering solutions.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience within Fire Engineering consulting in New Zealand.
Masters in Fire Engineering from a recognised institution either locally or overseas.
Knowledge of both acceptable solutions and VM2 projects.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of New Zealand fire safety regulations as well as using various fire related design/modelling software (B-Risk, etc.)
