    Description

    Key responsibilities include:
    Work in partnership with the director of church schools (DCS), central office personnel, area office personnel, and other stakeholders. Partner with DCS and key stakeholders to ensure legal compliance with area and local educational requirements and laws.


    May assist in overseeing the church school's area annual operating budget, financial performance, and safeguarding of church assets and safety for students.


    Manage, develop, and effectively train principals and educators to improve the learning experience and assess student experience for all (including students with disabilities) enrolled in church schools.

    Contribute to the Church schools' vision, strategies, and teaching strategy.

    May assist in supervising and overseeing job performance, professional development, and training of principals assigned to the area. This may include a mix of full-time and part-time employees.


    May be asked to regularly observe, assess, and provide feedback on the performance and development of those you lead and others in your area who need your expertise and mentoring.

    Assist the DCS in developing and implementing school policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    Manage the work of other employees and other workforce (e.g., Missionaries, Volunteers, Interns)


    Plan and conduct quarterly professional development discussions, hold monthly check-ins, and have regular conversations with those you lead to maintain consistency in teaching, learning, and leadership.


    May assist in providing regular in-service training for principals, focused on improving their job performance, career development, and fulfillment of the S&I and School Objectives.


    Regularly review and update a professional development plan, work towards accomplishing those goals, and render an account to the DCS.

    Establish and maintain a Christlike culture of unity, improvement, and accountability and escalate issues as needed to appropriate partners. Participate in regular training opportunities to improve your own job performance and career development.


    Partner with Human Resources (HR) and DCS to provide suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status employees under Church Schools supervision.

    Oversee data analysis. This also includes formulating reports, presentations, and annual profiles.

    Manage the Pacific Church Schools social media platforms and website.

    Assist the Director of Church Schools with special projects as needed.

    This position requires travel.
