    Description

    Our Client in Manukau, Auckland is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to take on a supervisory position within their expanding workshop team located in Otahuhu Auckland.

    Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday with alternating weekends.
    We are in need of an independent individual, a proactive go-getter who thrives on challenges and hard work.
    Hourly compensation is set at $45.00 per hour (package negotiable for the right candidate).
    Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is a prerequisite.
    Applicants must have the legal right to work and reside in New Zealand.

    Duties:
    - Follow the daily job run sheet under the guidance of the workshop Manager.
    - Perform daily servicing, addressing E Road defects, and adhering to fleet maintenance schedules such as COF's and general fleet servicing.
    - Collaborate effectively as part of a team, ensuring job quality is maintained at all times.
    - Operate within specified time limits and constraints.
    - Prioritize safety and uphold strong work ethics.
    - Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    - Demonstrate organization and outstanding communication skills.
    - Stay committed to delivering top-notch repairs and servicing.
    - Be available for on-call duties as per the roster, typically one week per month, and perform work on alternate Saturdays if necessary.

    This position reports to the Workshop Manager.
