We're looking for an Office Services Supervisor / Events Advisor to join our team in Wellington to work alongside the National Office Services Manager.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of proving first line supervision to a small internal team to deliver high quality service to our internal and external clients through managing a high quality front of house service alongside designing and managing internal and external events.

You will work closely with our Wellington and Auckland based Business Development team, Front of House, senior management, partners and our legal staff in:

  • Working with our Wellington partners and other internal clients to design, plan and deliver Bell Gully's internal and external functions for the Wellington office,
- managing the delivery of events to the agreed budget,
- managing an efficient and welcoming front of house and client service floor,
- supervising a high functioning team,
- ensuring the client areas are presented to the highest standard at all times,
- maintaining a portfolio of event venues for use by the Partnership,
- advising individuals and groups on events held on and offsite

  • Providing oversight of the firms catering and beverage services, and
- managing relationships with the Wellington catering provider

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

- previous experience in delivering high quality events and client functions,
- previous experience in supervising a team,
- previous experience working in a front of house role,
- proficient in Microsoft Office suite,
- ability to work under pressure with a demanding client-group,
- an eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy,
- excellent communication/interpersonal skills (both written and verbal),
- a "can-do" and happy to help attitude with the ability to be flexible and operate as part of a team,
- a proactive approach to your work - the ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs,
- ability to work in a busy environment, multitask and deal with constant interruptions,
- excellent client relationship, task and time management skills,
- previous experience working in a professional services environment will be an advantage; and
- previous experience in the hospitality industry / corporate receptionist role preferred.
