We are looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team at PAK'nSAVE Clarence St

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to help us continue to get the best quality products into our customers trolleys, and to get home safe.
The Role:
- Responsibility for the Food, Fuel, and Health & Safety systems and processes of Clarence St Pak' n Save the destination supermarket of the Waikato.
- Action product rejections, product recalls, and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations through education, training and the appropriate support of Managers and their teams
- Liaise appropriately with external regulatory bodies and the Foodstuffs regulatory support team
- Perform regularly scheduled checks to confirm compliance and functioning of store systems and processes.
- Process and maintain required certification of personnel (including Forklift and Liquor Licenses) and of equipment certification and maintenance schedules.
- Work with HR Manager and Store Manager with respect to Building WOF
- Undertake risk reviews, investigate accidents, and manage appropriate corrective actions as required.

What are we looking for:
Our preference is for someone with existing experience of Compliance systems within a Foodstuffs supermarket.
However, we are open to someone with experience in managing a Food Control Plan programme in a larger format retail environment or similar industry with responsibility for multiple areas and types of food production.
- 6 months experience maintaining a Food Control Plan
- 1 years experience maintaining certification programmes
- Experience working in food production preferred
- Experience performing Audits and accident investigations preferred
- Strong Computer literacy, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to learn new systems and processes
- Demonstrable ability to listen, consult, and communicate well with consistent values and behaviours.
- Experience making tough decisions based on established standards and guidelines.
- Precise, logical, operational thinking, reasoning and expertisebased problem solving
- Proven ability to train, develop and coach successfully.
