    We are looking for a

    Quality Control (Q.C.) Microbiologist

    to test samples of raw materials, bulk product, finished product and stability products to determine whether they meet specification.

    This position is full time.

    Responsibilities:
    Test samples of raw materials against specification. Liaise with manufacturing staff to determine testing priorities to ensure timely release of raw materials for manufacturing
    Test samples of bulk product against specification. Liaise with packing staff to determine testing priorities to ensure timely release of bulk products for packing.
    Submit samples of product and raw materials for external testing; liaise with external laboratories to ensure timely testing and reporting of results
    Assist in the development, documentation and validation of test procedures
    Assist in the development and documentation of test specifications
    Ensure that the QC function complies with GLP, GMP and Aloe Vera Industries procedures
    Assist in the Stability Studies of Finished Products
    Assist in NCR investigations.
    Work with other departments for corrective action plans.

    Experience and Qualifications:
    Degree in Microbiology or equivalent
    3 years experience in microbiology
    Ability to be a team player but also able to work alone
    Ability to offer advice on micro issues.
    Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs
    Ability to prepare accurate, clear, concise, and well-presented documents and compliance.
    Keeping batch documents up to date.
