This is a client facing role within the national finance team, aimed at delivering comprehensive financial analysis and valuable insights into the financial performance of various business units.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for assisting the service lines as a business partner, with a primary emphasis on upholding reporting accuracy, timely submissions, and delivering exceptional service.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the national finance team to meet weekly and monthly deliverables, ensuring the firm's financial accounts are reported promptly.

In this role, you will also play a pivotal role in mentoring and supporting junior members of the Business Performance team, contributing to the development of their financial expertise as they progress in their careers.


About the role and responsibities:


  • Assisting the finance team in closing monthend accounts.
  • Contributing to monthly financial accounting for management accounts.
  • Collaborating with Partners monthly for accurate and timely revenue provisions.
  • Reviewing accounts and providing feedback on revenue variances and expected expenditure.
  • Understanding the endtoend process to ensure timely and accurate publishing of accounts.
  • Providing ad hoc support to maintain accounts integrity.
  • Supporting the business performance team in understanding revenue recognition and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Preparing reports and posting journals to finalise draft and final accounts

Skills and qualifications:

***- Qualification in or working towards CAANZ, CPA, AT or CIMA

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and KPIs
  • Superior level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong excel and modelling skills and ability to manipulate data efficiently and accurately
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exhibits strong analytical abilities.
  • Shows proficiency in commonly utilised accounting software, with a preference for SAP.
  • Boasts advanced expertise in Excel
