We are seeking a
Consultant Psychiatrist to join our
Home Based Treatment (HBT) Service (South).

You will be motivated, enthusiastic, and a highly professional Doctor, who is ready to work as part of a dynamic team, delivering quality equity-focused mental health acute clinical care.

This service works collaboratively alongside both the Intake and Acute Assessment (I&AA) and Integrated Care Community Services.

The I&AA and HBT services are co-located at our Kerrs Road site, allowing close collaboration and a seamless care pathway for our whaiora.

The Home Based Treatment service delivers acute clinical treatment to service users either in their own home, or in a community facility, enabling the service users to receive treatment with minimum disruption to their lives and with the support and care of their whaanau.

Vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ in the scope of Psychiatry and a current APC is essential at commencement of employment.
