About the company
A manufacturing business working within construction, our client has branches in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch. They manufacture several well-known Kiwi brands, with sustainability and the environment in mind.

About the role
As Health, Safety and Sustainability Advisor, you'll be promoting these principal values. Proactively coaching leadership and encouraging participation in safety across the workforce and supporting companywide initiatives.

Duties will include

Oversee site audits, safety observations and reviews
Provide accurate and timely reporting
Conduct investigations when needed
Conduct training as required

Skills and experience
The ability to provide coaching and mentoring at all levels of the business is key to this role.

Practical working knowledge of the HSWA, experience working with ISO9001:2015 and up to date HSNO knowledge will complement your success, along with an understanding of lean manufacturing and sustainability.

Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety are expected and ICAM would be an advantage. Experience in construction or related trades is desirable.
