What will you do?

We are on the lookout for an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor to support our main care centre at our construction site in Hobsonville, Auckland.

In this full-time position, you will:

Assist the Site Manager & Project Manager to lead and manage the construction and completion of our main care centre
Be responsible for managing the overall logistics, program and contractors of the site and supporting the project team (foreman and safety etc) to achieve a successful outcome
Manage sizable teams of direct labour and subcontractors
Communicate at all levels with site staff and our consultants to meet project timelines

About you

Our work at Ryman is varied - no day is the same, and we are looking for people to join our team who are proactive and put safety above everything.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Have proven experience working on commercial (multistorey) projects in a Foreman capacity, specifically in structure
Hold a relevant trade qualification
Be trade qualified working your way up from the tools
Proven experience delivering $100m+ commercial or multistory residential construction projects in a main contractor environment
A 'cando' attitude and the leadership skills required to create a great working culture
A demonstrated understanding of the importance of safety, and are computer savvy
An ability to communicate effectively and influence, persuade and guide others
A flexible and adaptable approach, as well as the ability to adjust your style to work effectively with different people
