About the Role

This well-established and rapidly growing business are a specialist manufacturing supplier and distributor of concrete accessories for the construction industry.

They have been in operation for over 30 years and are known for their innovative systems and products and their ability to deliver the right system the first time.


Due to continued growth they are now seeking a self-motivated, hands-on individual who thrives on working in a fast paced environment and has the ability to "get in and get things done".

Working within a Manufacturing warehouse area, responsibilities include, receipt and dispatch of goods, loading and unloading of trucks, handling deliveries, stock control, basic assembly duties and ensuring smooth operations in the warehouse.

You will need to be physically fit, have experience leading a small team in the Stores area and have a clear understanding of Warehousing and Health and Safety processes.

Duties:


  • Pick and pack of orders
  • Forklift operation
  • Receipt and check inwards goods
  • Undertake deliveries and interact with their local customer base
  • Collection of product and materials from local suppliers
  • Assembly work and assisting the manufacturing and operations team
  • Fill in for the Warehouse Manager when required

Skills and Experience:


  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Minimum 5 years in Stores/Warehousing
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities within a team environment
  • Must be physically fit
  • Organised, efficient, selfmanaged team player
  • Excellent "can do" attitude and work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Clear understanding of Health and Safety
  • Forklift licence
  • Drivers licence essential
