    Job Description

Wētā Workshop has been applying innovation and artistry to the world's creative industries for over 35 years.

From the back room of a Wellington flat, to a company of over 350 people across a range of disciplines – design to manufacture, tourism to consumer products, a game studio..

    and more.

We've outgrown a number of our legacy systems and are looking to implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool to deliver new functionality and process improvements across the organisation.

    We're looking for a hands-on

    Project Manager

to deliver our ERP project alongside the vendor and our own project resources and stakeholders.
    This

    12 month fixed term

    role will be responsible for:
    Developing the ERP project plan
Managing project budget and internal resources
Overseeing the processes being implemented to maximise system functionality.
    Project reporting and communications
Managing business process mapping, training documentation and change processes
You won't be doing everything yourself though, we have SMEs within our departments to own and drive processes for example, but you'll need to be across what's going on – and make sure it's happening
    You'll need to have

a minimum of 5 years' experience project managing ERP implementations or similar IT projects (including responsibility for planning, budgeting and reporting)

You'll need strong experience in business analysis within a manufacturing or project-based environment, with experience leading successful process improvement initiatives.

You'll thrive in an environment where you get alongside people across the business, understanding your stakeholders and their needs, and making their lives easier.

The ideal candidate will also be a strong communicator, and able to build relationships and influence decision makers at all levels.

    Why this project?

This is great opportunity to be involved with a truly transformational ERP implementation, in a truly unique workplace.

This is also very much a role where you'll be in amongst it – with project management, business analysis and change management components rolled into one.

Our initial discovery workshops have left our teams engaged – some can't wait, some more hesitant, with your job to act as arbitrator and logical voice to bring people along.

Challenge things where necessary, help people work things out, add to things where necessary.

This will be a great project to be part of, variety, challenge and the chance to work with an iconic organisation.

We're flexible with when you start, ideally mid-May, but early June at latest.
The salary for this role is up to $150,000.00 per annum (depending on experience.)
Successful applicants require a satisfactory Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions

    • Please note you must
    already have

the right to work in New Zealand to be considered for this role
