Lending and Sales Specialist - Upper Hutt

Do you enjoy working with people to help them with finance options? Stephen Robinson and the MTF Finance Upper Hutt team are hiring a Lending and Sales Specialist.

Instead of looking for somebody who "ticks all the boxes", we're interested in hearing from sales-focused people who are passionate about the Upper Hutt community, and keen to continuously seek out new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong local network and the ability to start conversations with people from all walks of life.

Your skills and experience:
Strong sales background and work ethic
A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Highly organised and efficient, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Experienced in managing a portfolio of customers, with proven ability in building relationships
Highly motivated to get into the community and source new business leads
Familiarity with consumer credit with good knowledge of associated legislation (CCCFA & AML/CFT) is advantageous, but not essential as we provide exceptional training and support

Just some of the things you'll be doing:
Working with the customer from the first point of contact, understanding the customer's needs, adopting the applicable products, and completing the loan documents
Completing documentation, ensuring fulfilment of compliance requirements
Building customer relationships throughout their loan journey and creating further opportunities within their networks
Advocating for a trusted local brand, contributing to the success of our local community and the MTF Finance network

You'll also need to have:
a genuine enjoyment of working as a team but also highly capable of managing your own workload and working independently
High levels of integrity and privacy, able to maintain strict confidentiality
Confident working with numbers, with the ability to easily grasp working with new technology products
Good level of written and verbal English skills
