Position Summary:


Support the manufacture of ion exchange resin products at our Nelson facility for use in the food processing, diagnostic and biotech industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily production of various ion exchange resins to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain stocks of raw materials consistent with the production plan requirements.
  • Manage a range of records ensuring that all information is correct, traceable and completed real time.
  • Participate in a broad range of task's from manufacturing to cleaning to assure efficient operation of the business.
  • Use the experience and skills gained as part of your development to help solve moderate to complex challenges within process guidelines and support others to do the same.
  • Contribute ideas and practice continuous improvement in advancing quality, cost, customer satisfaction and productivity gains.
  • Adhere to environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment.
  • Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
  • Working Conditions:

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • An understanding, interest or qualification in chemistry would be an advantage
  • Hard working, honest and funloving people will fit in well with the existing small team
