Description

We have a part time (24hour a week) vacancy available for an experienced security guard to join our Red Security team, maintaining a secure environment at the Michael Hill store in Taupo.

About the Role:

Able to deter theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
Monitor customer activity and behaviour, identifying and addressing suspicious individuals or activities.
Enforce store policies, including checking receipts, preventing unauthorized access, and handling potential shoplifting incidents.
Collaborate with store management and team members to create a safe and secure shopping environment.
Communicating & completing incident reporting and investigation

About You:

Have Security &/ or Customer Service experience and a Green COA Security License
Availability to work at least one weekend day on a regular roster
Strong communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with the client and take directives.
Must be professional, reliable, confident & honest
Possess the ability to engage & build relationships with a diverse range of people.
Must be highly skilled in communication and leadership
Possess a professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility
Strong focus on delivering high quality securitysolutions
Excellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detail
Physical fitness able to walk and stand for long periods of time
