    Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand,Nelson Marlborough seeks an experienced Haematologist to join the dynamic Haematology/Oncologydepartment
    Permanent part-time 0.8FTE (64 hours fortnightly) to full time1.0FTE (80 hours fortnightly)

    The salary for this position is based on thecurrent Senior Medical and Dental Officer collective agreement dependent onskills, experience, and vocational registration in NZ.

    In addition to your salary, you will:

    The successful applicant will:
    Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management ofhaematological conditions for patients in the Nelson Marlborough Region.
    Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensurecomprehensive patient care.

    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop andimplement treatment plans and quality services to improve the health ofthe population in Nelson Marlborough.

    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research toadvance haematological care.
    Contribute to the education and training of our growing juniormedical workforce.

    Theideal applicant will:
    Have an FRACP with subspecialisttraining recognised by the Haematology Society.

    Be eligible for an Annual PractisingCertificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine - Haematology with the MedicalCouncil of New Zealand.

    May be at the beginning of their career looking to a role that grows with them.
    Be looking to work independently as aconsultant Haematologist in a provincial hospital.
    Demonstrate experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range ofhaematological conditions.

    Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with theability to work effectively within multidisciplinary team to promote acohesive team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour, andrespect across disciplines.

    Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development andquality improvement.
