    The role:


    The position of the Network Strategy Lead is responsible for leading the development of strategic plans and delivery roadmaps for TGE Fleet operations and broader TGE Network operational strategies.

    This role will drive the strategy and capital planning processes to ensure that the fleet is standardised, working optimally, maximising organisational efficiencies and service performance.

    Beyond Fleet strategy, this position will be required lead on the design and delivery of operational transformation projects and capability to execute the broader network operations strategy.

    A key responsibility of this role is to maximise network standardisation and optimisation to deliver improvement in network performance, while ensuring the Network is ready to meet the future needs of the business and the customers we serve.

    Exercising excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across Functional and Divisional operational teams within the TGE network, this position is pivotal to enabling long term operational readiness, driving operational efficiencies and customer service delivery outcomes.


    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:


    Develop and deliver the overall network fleet strategy for operations, including the development and implementation of a long term (3-5 year) plan, in line with customer requirements and broader TGE network development strategy (network, fleet, site).

    Strategic development of the fleet model and associated capital planning processes, ensuring the fleet model it is aligned to the organisational objectives, meet the future needs of the business and the markets it serves.

    Develop fleet and other network design blueprints and project plans to ensure Network standardisation objectives are met.
    Conduct network capacity modelling on a rolling 3 – 5 year timeframe, actively managing the Network Footprint and associated Fleet strategy and Assets to support growth and efficiency
    Coordinate with divisional operations managers on supply forecast inputs, identifying service risks and opportunities (latent capacity)
    Prepare Strategy and capital planning presentation content for operations & communication.
    Support operations team education on Network capability, including transformation project scopes and deliverables, developing fit for purpose tools (process & systems)

    Own, govern and maintain the data integrity of all key design inputs to the Network strategy Fleet plan and broader Network strategy as required.

    In conjunction with the NOC Planning team, conduct scenario analysis for the supply plan and re-forecasting as required to facilitate operational decision-making and identification of transformation project priorities
    Work in a manner that is not harmful to one's own health and safety and the health and safety of others
