    Hutt Valley is a region in the southern part of New Zealand's North Island, containing the towns of Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt.

    The region has a diverse population of over 140,000, with a strong presence of Maoris and Pacific Islanders.

    The position is vacant at a hospital that provides care to the population of the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa region.

    They get a lot of referrals through from the regional clinics. Often these are patients from clinics for rheumatism or plastic surgery.

    In addition, 2 more emergency clinics in the region, for which they provide various services such as fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound and interventional radiology.

    On behalf of the above hospital, we are looking for a radiologist for this salaried position in New Zealand. The position is full-time, but possibly part-time is also possible.
    The suitable candidate will work at the hospital in the Radiology Department. Of the other radiologists working here, most have subspecialisations. As a result, there is a lot of specialist knowledge available and you can gain a lot of experience. Several international colleagues work here and there is a lot of attention to work-life balance.

    Because of the many subspecialisms present, you yourself also get the opportunity to specialise and you can peer review each other, which raises the quality of care even higher.

    To apply, you must be able to register with the New Zealand Medical Council. For this, you must have a good command of the English language and previous experience as a radiologist.

    As a radiologist, you will have a good command of general skills and be able to handle many different imaging techniques.
