We are needing a
Trainee Design Engineer to join our team

As our
Trainee Design Engineer , you would be responsible for:

  • The design of automatic fire sprinkler systems to New Zealand Standards and the associated processes and documentation required by the Standard
  • The design of other specialist fire protections systems


As we are a national company the role may include a certain amount of travel from time to time when a base skill set has been established.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop and advance your career in Engineering and the Fire Protection industry.


Who are we looking for?

  • Diploma or Degree in either Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
  • Ability to problem solve technical issues
  • AutoCAD draughting skills
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and oral forms
  • Selfmotivated teamplayer with good customer skills and with integrity
  • Excellent time management, attention to details, and clear communication skills
