About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Practice / Business Manager to lead our friendly team and oversee the smooth, day-to-day running of our clinic. You'll be the go-to person for our team, ensuring that operations, patient care, and business processes run seamlessly — all while fostering a positive, professional workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily clinic operations, scheduling, and patient flow
• Leading, supporting, and developing a high-performing team
• Managing recruitment, training, and performance reviews
• Handling financial processes, including budgets, payroll, and supplier relationships
• Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and privacy standards
• Driving improvements in systems, workflows, and patient experience
• Supporting marketing and community engagement initiatives

About You

You're a confident and capable leader with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. You're proactive, solution-focused, and understand the unique demands of a healthcare environment.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience as a Practice or Clinic Manager or similar leadership role, (ideally in dental, orthodontic, or medical settings)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Solid understanding of financial and administrative systems
• A high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer service focus
• Experience using dental/medical software (e.g., Exact, Orthotrac, Oasis)
• Knowledge of NZ compliance standards for health, safety, and privacy
• A positive, down-to-earth nature who is willing to pitch in wherever needed

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with orthodontic workflows or terminology
• Experience in a growing or multi-disciplinary clinic
