Wurth NZ is searching for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative who is eager to join our well-established, growing sales company.

Wurth NZ has approximately 160 full time employees with 120 Sales Representative on the road, visiting over 20,000 customers nationwide.


About the role:

This telesales role isn't your standard, where we ask you to cold call all day.

For this office-based role, you will work with pre-established customers who regularly purchase to support the sales areas that we have, which is a new business venture at Wurth.

We are branching into telesales with the focus on servicing existing customers with a profile of your own whilst also using the warm leads to grow our customer base.


What is involved in this role is:

  • Managing a portfolio of customers through regular phone contact
  • Promotion of company services
  • Informing customers of current special offers
  • Converting a call into a sale
  • Ensuring profitable purchases are made by our customers
  • Providing advice on products best suited to the clients business
  • Handle price queries
  • Preparing sales quotes
  • Market research
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday; 8am4:30pm
The person who will succeed in this role will hold the key skills of:

  • Previous successful telesales experience
  • Ability to actively listen and respond to customers' demands
  • Can think on your feet and take initiative of a conversation
  • Customer relations enthusiast
  • Sales driven
  • Willingness to learn products
  • Confidence in office software systems such as CRM, ERP's and Outlook
