Our client, PCRN Limited is a private research facility, with sites across New Zealand running clinical trials across varying areas of research.

Bringing new treatment opportunities to a community of volunteers is what makes working with them so rewarding. They require a Receptionist/Administrator to join their team.

This role encompasses reception, administration and general house-keeping.

Responsible for ensuring that the premises are clean and tidy, reception, and assisting the team with the logístical aspects of clinical trials, it is the first point of contact for research participants and welcoming face of the organisation.


Key duties and responsibilities include:


  • Assisting with the coordination and implementation of sponsored clinical research studies
  • Providing customer service to participants, visitors and clients to the clinic
  • General housekeeping duties, ensuring the premises are clean and tidy, coffee machine is cleaned, rubbish emptied, all the little tasks that help our organisation to run smoothly
  • Replenishment of consumables
  • General administration duties and provide support for the Clinical Trial Team, as required
  • Patient contact and ensure followup reminders are sent
  • Calendar monitoring
  • Data management, updating and maintaining clinical data as directed
  • Assisting the clinical team with clinical documentation as directed
  • Receipting, preparing, handling and storing of Clinical Trials supplies and laboratory specimens
  • Assisting with prescreening and communication with study participants
  • Administering and collecting participant customer service surveys
  • Facilitating maintenance and servicing of all equipment and devices as directed
  • Experience in administration support in a busy environment
  • Being passionate about customer care and used to dealing with people of all walks of life
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and have compassion for others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Personable, kind, empathetic and approachable
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A willingness to get stuck in and assist where required
  • Highly organised, enjoy systems and processes and excellent time management
  • Great computing abilities, preferably extensive experience working in the MS Office suite


Small teams operate well when staff members work cohesively together to support each other, therefore being a team player is absolutely essential.


RECRUITMENT INFORMATION
You must be currently located in New Zealand and have the legal right to work here. Excellent oral and written comprehension of the English Language and strong written communication skills are essential.
